14 USC §89 is an American law which provides the U.S. Coast Guard, the nation's oldest maritime law enforcement agency, with the powers of arrest, search, and seizure. This site is not affiliated with the U.S. Coast Guard, but its title does pay homage to the original law officers of the high seas.
