COBRA Marine Boarding Ladder

I found this over on the website Apollo Military. I thought some of you guys might like it.

The Apollo COBRA Marine Boarding Ladder built from low maintenance, lightweight Titanium offers easy covert access to decks, floors and buildings and is especially effective for use from RIBs. The COBRA Marine Boarding Ladder is also swimmable underwater and used by tactical military & Police groups.
The COBRA Marine Boarding Ladder is a modular design incorporating a simple SQR (Secure Quick Release) locking mechanism that allows for easy transport and fast assembly under most circumstances.
To facilitate easy climbs and descents the ladders rungs are spaced and incorporate an anti skid surface and side slippage protection. We can place operators at the target faster and in a better condition physically than using the old wind up pole and wire ladder systems. By the time you have one operator on the deck of a vessel using older boarding apparatus we can have five men aboard
The COBRA SQR Marine Tactical Ladder is simple to assemble and disassemble due to the unique SQR (Secure Quick Release) coupling. The coupling is automatically self locking.
The Apollo COBRA Titanium Marine Tactical Ladder offers easy covert access to decks, floors and buildings and is especially effective for use from RIBs.

I don’t like the single pole idea. Traditional caving ladders have too many fail safes to consider using this. Two steel cables with aluminum rungs on the traditional gives you something to clip into if the climb starts getting rough, if a cable breaks you still have another one to hold on to, and they can be attached to a variety of hooks and crooks.

    Hey There,
You can clip of easily on this titanium pole and have 5 guys on board in a fresh condition by the time you have one up a traditional ladder! These climbing poles are now in service in the SF community with NSN Numbers. Tested to over 1000kgs!!! Boarding is a s@#t job at the best of times, with this piece of kit it is a breeze! Get to your objective fast…non mag & swimmable underwater!

Climb this and you will never revert to “Two Steel Cables with aluminium rungs!!”
