For those of you who like the show NCIS, this is for you:

Next Tuesday’s episode (March 15, 2010), titled “Jurisdiction”, will feature the Coast Guard Investigative Service as a CGIS special agent – based on an actual agent, and her team help NCIS solve the murder of a Navy diver. Actress Diane Neal will portray fictional CGIS Special Agent Abigail Borin.

A show recognized for its attention to detail with regard to the military, NCIS producers consulted CGIS and the Coast Guard’s Motion Picture office (MoPic) during production of the episode for the purpose of accurately portraying CGIS and its procedures as this is the first time Coast Guard Special Investigators will be featured on the show.

Tune in to your local CBS affiliate next Tuesday at 8/7c to watch “Jurisdiction.”
